Jack Daniel's Chips are wood chips made from Jack Daniel's distinctive Bourbon whiskey, aged in charred white oak barrels. During the ageing process, the whisky infiltrates the wood, giving it its characteristic colour and flavour. A portion of the whisky remains in the wood after the barrels have been emptied, and it is at this point that some of the whisky is turned into chips for smoking.
Use these pre-moistened chips in your barbecue, rotisserie or smokers for exceptionally aromatic grilled meats. You can also try them in infusions in water or milk, like cinnamon sticks.
