The secrets of Glass Concepts by 100%Chef
23/06/2025
If you already know Glass Concepts, you know that it is something that goes far beyond a collection of glass tableware. On the contrary, they are unique, elegant and sometimes groundbreaking pieces of glass. They continue over time to attract the attention of customers and awaken creativity in Chef and Bartenders.
Today we want to share the secrets that keep this success alive, and invite you to visit the pulsating heart where our Glass Concepts come to life.
– Point 1, the material: it is borosilicate glass (Schott 4.0). Its composition with silica and boron trioxide makes it very strong and perfect for use in both high and low temperatures, and also suitable for microwave, oven and dishwasher.
– Point 2, the creation process: each piece is designed to surprise, bringing new or very different concepts to the kitchen and cocktail bar. In the creation process we first leave room for fantasy with no limits. Then we move on to the prototype to combine the idea with both the practical needs of the material and its production, as well as the basic requirements for optimal daily use. The motivation is maximum when we are able to materialize ideas that come directly from our friends Chefs and Barman.
– Last point, and not least, the expertise and closeness of our craftsmen. In the workshop located in Barcelona, they maintain high the pride of their family tradition by working borosilicate glass with passion, sweat, and a lot of talent. You can enter this workshop now, watching this video:
Thanks to this closeness we can materialize so many different ideas. You can know more and see them here.
This small tribute is dedicated to these people, Chiqui, Porfi, Jesús and Manolo, our craftsmen and friends, and to our clients who continue to choose quality and authenticity.
