FAQ: Using Click-it

Q: Can I use Click-it with all types of bags?
A: Click-it works with most bags, but the material, finish, and thickness can affect how long the vacuum lasts. We recommend using vacuum-seal bags to maintain the effect.

  • To prevent air from leaking, use smooth bags without wrinkles.
  • Use the clip to seal the bag (make sure the bag width is smaller than the clip opening).
  • Thickness: over 0.06 mm; Width: under 19.5 cm (freezer bags, vacuum bags, etc.)

Q: How long does the vacuum effect last? How long will the freshness be preserved?
A: When used correctly, the vacuum should last:

  • Standard freezer bag: 1–2 weeks
  • Vacuum bag: about 1 month
The duration also depends on the bag’s quality, thickness, finish, and how much gas is released by the food. Freshness can be extended 3–5 times depending on conditions. Freezing can preserve freshness for a year or more.

Q: Why does air escape immediately after pumping?
A: Check for any debris or dust inside the valve. Remove and clean the valve.

  • Make sure there are no wrinkles in the bag surface near the valve. Flatten the bag and replace the valve, pressing it firmly.
  • Ensure the clip is properly sealed on the bag.

Q: Why is it impossible to create a vacuum even after pumping?
A:

  • Check for wrinkles between the bag and valve. Flatten the bag and replace the valve.
  • Check if the bag is damaged. Use a new bag.
  • Move the food closer to the valve and pump again.
